ZONE CHAIRS: Please come prepared to give a report on how your zone is doing. We have all 8 zone chair positions filled!!!! YEAH!!!!!! This has not happened for several years. I am excited!!!! Please read page 21 of the Policy Manual for the official attire directive. Our three Peace poster winners and their families will be invited to attend the luncheon at the Convention and to be recognized for their hard work and they will be given a monetary gift.

 

Convention Keynote Speaker:

PID A. Geoffrey Wade

A. Geoffrey Wade from Port St. Lucie, Florida was elected to serve a two-year term as an
international director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s International Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 29 through July 3, 2018.
Director Wade is an Independent Financial Advisor with over 32 years’ experience in the
Financial industry.
A Charter member of the Port St. Lucie West Lions Club since 1995, he has held many offices within the association, including Club President, Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, District Governor, Cabinet Treasurer, Zone Chair, and District GLT, GMT, and GST Chair.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards, including Builder Key Award, Senior Key Award, five International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, a Leadership Medal and a Presidential Medal. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition, Director Wade is a Past President, Finance Chair and Projects Manager for the
Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind and a Vice President of the Florida Lions Eye Bank. He is also a Certified Screener and Trainer for the Florida Lions Diabetes Awareness and
Retinopathy Foundations.
Director Wade and his wife, Nancy, also a Lion and Melvin Jones Fellow, have two daughters, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
